Description
Do you want to help create order, quality, and clarity in how we meet the citizens of Gothenburg?
We are looking for a customer and case coordinator who wants to develop our working methods and strengthen communication in an organization that affects the entire city.
The Department of Outdoor Environments and Urban Life is responsible for some of Gothenburg's most appreciated environments, from parks and natural areas to playgrounds, bathing areas, and various types of smaller facilities. We have many points of contact with residents, associations, media, politics, and other parts of the city, and the number of cases is increasing. To meet this growing need, we are now seeking a customer and case coordinator who wants to help create structure, quality, and consistency in our communication and case management.
This is a role for you who thrive in an environment where communication, service, analysis, and process development meet, and who wants to contribute to establishing professional working methods in an organization that makes a difference for many.
Responsibilities
As a customer and case coordinator, you will coordinate and develop the unit's work with citizen contacts and cases in our case management system. You will work both strategically and operationally, by developing processes, routines, response templates, and service levels, as well as ensuring that cases are handled clearly and professionally.
You will be an important contact point for inquiries from the media and politics, where you filter, structure, and direct cases so that the right expertise handles them. You will also coordinate and respond to referrals, and contribute to ensuring that our written responses maintain high quality in terms of language, factuality, and clarity.
The role involves close collaboration with business developers, managers, and planning leaders, and you will be a cohesive function that helps us create order and overview in our overall communication flow.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree in communication, public administration, social sciences, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and enjoy formulating clear, correct, and easily understandable responses to questions of varying complexity.
It is an advantage if you have experience in process development, case management, coordination, or communication work, as well as previous contact with media or political actors. It is a plus if you have worked in public administration and feel comfortable navigating between different professions and stakeholders.
Personal qualities
We are looking for a person who is structured, self-driven, and analytical, with the ability to create order in complex information flows and see what needs to be developed. You have high integrity and are attentive in your interactions with others, while also being confident in handling questions that may be time-sensitive or sensitive.
You thrive in a role that combines communication, coordination, and process work, and you have a desire to build effective working methods that contribute to strengthening both service and quality in our operations.
Why apply for this position with us?
You will have a unique opportunity to help shape a new function that will make a significant difference in the department's working methods and the city's visibility outward. Here you will work closely with engaged colleagues who are passionate about the city's outdoor environments. The role offers great scope for influence and development, while you will become a key person in our dialogue with the citizens of Gothenburg, the media, and politics.
Conditions
With us, you will work in an administration focused on development, collaboration, and diversity. We offer flexible working hours (with exceptions in certain departments), wellness benefits, and cycling perks - so you can combine an exciting job with a sustainable private life.
As an employer, we have an obligation to ensure that you have the right to reside and work in Sweden. Therefore, during a physical interview, you will need to show a passport or national ID card. We will also check your driver's license during the interview.
Selection and interviews are ongoing, so do not wait to apply!
